The Retrax™ is the first shock absorbing lanyard that retracts automatically to fit your unique work area. Leveraging a retraction technology similar to airport security lines, the Retrax™ retracts and expands smoothly and consistently, from 2-1/2 to 6 ft. (0.8 to 1.8m). With it, the lanyard stays taut and close to the body at all times, reducing trip fall hazards, snagging on equipment and dragging. Incorporating our popular shock type pack, the Retrax™ also offers tough polyester webbing, a polycarbonate thermoplastic retractor case and that features a controlled tearing action which reduces forces during a fall.
